At The Blue Space, we recently had the pleasure of working with a local Sydney-based family to create their dream modern coastal bathroom. One of the standout features of this renovation was the stunning KitKit feature wall and soft timber accents, which gave the space a serene and calming vibe.
When it came to selecting tiles, the family searched for the perfect fit for their modern coastal theme. Deciding to go with a large format travertine-look tile in a soft, muted grey, this tile perfectly complements the feature wall. This created a seamless flow throughout the space and allowed the timber accents and Tiger Bronze tapware to stand out.
The gorgeous Middleton Jade Porcelain Mosaic Finger Tiles work beautifully as a focal piece in this room. The stunning blue-green finish is perfectly reminiscent of the ocean, ticking that coastal theme box.
For the tapware, the family chose Meir Tapware in a striking Tiger Bronze finish. This choice of finish was a bold move, but it paid off as it provided a perfect contrast against the blue tiles and timber accents. One of the biggest challenges during this renovation was creating more space without compromising on functionality. After some brainstorming, the family decided to change the initial layout of the bathroom by relocating the vanity and creating a new wet area. This allows for a more open and spacious bathroom. Opting for the gorgeous Fienza Nero Stone Bathtub nestled in the corner, this piece quickly becames a statement of its own.
