4. Light and objects will influence colour. Colour can reflect the space it is in. For example, if you put a white wall opposite a large orange artwork, the white may look a little more orange. Here are a few more elements that can influence colour: light types (LED, halogen, lamp shades), things inside a room (rugs, feature walls, furniture) and things outside a room (trees, surrounding houses and cars).
5. Play around and move your stickers. As we kick sample pots to the curb, you now have the flexibility to peel off your colour swatch and place it in different areas of your space. Really make the most of them! We also recommend moving them from the brightest part to the darkest part of your room as well as comparing them next to cupboards, furniture or artworks.
6. Trust your eye. If you naturally gravitate towards a test colour, then back yourself. You know your space, and you know what you like. What you're leaning towards will be right! And if you really feel like you’ve made a mistake (highly doubtful), it’s nothing that another coat of paint can't fix right?
